    I provide counseling services across Louisiana through remote sessions. Whether you're in rural areas, large cities like Baton Rouge and New Orleans, or anywhere in between, I offer support without the usual geographical constraints.

  • Do I have to live in Louisiana to choose you as my therapist?

    Yes, I am licensed to practice solely in Louisiana. Each state has unique licensing requirements. Currently, Louisiana allows social workers to offer services solely to clients within the state.

  • What does therapy look like?

    Each session is customized to address your unique therapy objectives and personal aspirations. Sessions are 60 minutes and are usually scheduled weekly. Duration varies by individual needs and progress, ranging from short-term to longer commitments.

  • How much does therapy cost?

    Individual online sessions cost $100. However, your cost may be less if your insurance policy provides for a co-pay rate and/or after your deductible is met.

  • Do you accept private pay clients?

    Certainly, it is not uncommon for clients to choose this option, even if they already have insurance coverage, based on their individual preferences and specific needs.

  • What insurance do you accept?

    I am a preferred provider for Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Cigna, Oscar, Oxford, and United Healthcare UHC/UBH. If you are covered out of network, I can offer you a detailed superbill post each session so you can claim reimbursement from your insurance.

  • What methods of payment do you accept?

    Various payment methods, including network insurance, cash, check, credit card, Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flex Savings Account (FSA) cards are accepted. Payment is due at the end of each session.

  • Do you offer a Good Faith Estimate?

    Certainly, according to the law, you are entitled to obtain a Good Faith Estimate detailing the anticipated total cost of non-emergency healthcare services, such as psychotherapy. For details, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

  • What happens if I am late for a session?

    If you sign in late, your session might be cut short to make time for others after you. If you're over 15 minutes without prior notice, your appointment will be canceled, and the full fee will apply.

  • What if I need to cancel a session?

    Unexpected events may happen. If you cannot keep your appointment, you must give at least 24 hours’ notice.

    $75 fee for late cancellations and missed appointments.

  • Can online therapy be as effective as in-person therapy?

    Studies indicate that online therapy can offer comparable benefits to traditional face-to-face therapy for various mental health issues.
